Lawrence A. Garvey is a partner in the Law Firm of Cushner and Garvey, L.L.P. located in Tarrytown, New York. Cushner and Garvey, L.L.P. is a full service Law Firm with a particular emphasis on, Real Estate Matters, Personal Financial Matters, Trust and Estate Planning, Business Law, and Litigation. As well as Personal Injury & Negligence.

Prior to entering private practice, Lawrence was General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of ACORD Corporation, a highly technical, international Insurance Association located in Pearl River, New York. While at ACORD, Lawrence was responsible for all corporate legal affairs including: all litigations, real estate transactions, acquisition agreements and employment law issues.

Lawrence is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law and the State University of New York at Albany. Additionally, Lawrence is a member of the Westchester County Bar Association, The New York State Bar Association and The American Bar Association and is the author of numerous articles on Law and Technology in the business environment.
